Mayfield Ice Creamier To Be Presenting Sponsor Of NASCAR K&N Pro Series Event At GMP

JEFFERSON, GA (August 23, 2010)  Gresham Motorsports Park today announced that Mayfield Dairy Farms and its Mayfield Dairy Ice Creamier brand of products will serve as the presenting sponsor of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East event at GMP on Saturday, August 28.

The American Fence Association 150 Presented By Mayfield Dairy Ice Creamier will be the first time GMP has partnered with the Athens, TN. Company. As part of the association, Mayfield Dairy Farms is now the ‘Official Ice Cream’ at Gresham Motorsports Park.

“We’re thrilled that Mayfield Dairy Farms has decided to partner with us – not just for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race – but also as the ‘Official Ice Cream’ of Gresham Motorsports Park,” said GMP general manager Dan Elliott. “I’ve been eating Mayfield Dairy ice cream all my life and I’m hoping this is association is going to be a long one. We’re just up the road from the Mayfield Dairy Distribution Center in Braselton, GA, so we’ve got all the ice cream we can eat right here in our backyard.”

Since 1910, Mayfield Dairy Farms milk and ice cream have been recognized among the nation’s best dairy products. Today, the firm employs more than 2,000 workers in nine states and its ice cream division makes a wide array of frozen treats including Select, Classic and Cremier Churn varieties, Light Frozen Yogurt, Sherbet and Novelties – many of which will now be sold at GMP under the ‘Official Ice Cream’ of the track association.

The GMP Truck, Renegade and Mini-Stock divisions will also compete in feature events as part of the big American Fence Association 150 Presented By Mayfield Ice Creamier racefest.

Adult Grandstand and Trackside General Admission Tickets for the Saturday, August 28 show are just $20 for this special event. Seniors (55 and older) and Active Military Personnel are $18 while Children 6-12 are $10. Children 5 and under will be admitted free and, as always, parking is free.

Overnight camping areas for the American Fence Association 150 at GMP will open Friday, August 25 at 10 a.m. A secure, level gravel surface camping area is available for $75 for the weekend. A free of charge grass surface camping area adjacent to the main grandstand is also available. All camping areas are first come, first served.
The GMP Grandstand and Trackside Parking for the American Fence Association 150 will open at 11 a.m.

The GMP Grandstand and Trackside Parking for the August 28 event will open at 11 a.m. Trackside Parking spots are $25 (Vans, Pickups, Cars only) on a first come, first served basis.

Opening Ceremonies are set for 6:45 p.m. with the first race taking the green flag at 7:30 p.m. sharp.

Gresham Motorsports Park is located right off I-85 at Exit 140, next to the Jackson County Airport in Jefferson. GA.
