It’ll be a red hot month of August at Gresham Motorsports Park as Georgia’s newest half-mile oval on will host a pair of high-profile, sizzling nights of racing action.

Best of all, adult fans can see both the August 14 GMP Pro Late Model program and the August 28 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East event for just one low price - $30.

On Saturday, August 14, the Pro Late Models will hit the GMP high banks in a 100-lap main event. Joining the Pro Late Models on Saturday, August 14 will be the Outlaw Late Models, Trucks, Renegades, Mini-Stocks and Mini-Cups.

The late-summer stock car racing classic will also have a ton of off-track entertainment headlined by an all division driver’s autograph session beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Also at GMP on August 14 will be the Jefferson High School Marching Band. Gresham Motorsports Park has partnered with the local high school to perform at several GMP events this year. In return, GMP is assisting the JHS band raise money for new uniforms through several fundraising initiatives.

Finally, the August 14 GMP racing event will feature Round 4 of the Funopolis FanTastic Challenge - where fans can race a go kart on the Gresham Motorsports Park track for prizes and a chance to compete in the Funopolis FanTastic Challenge Finals at the 27th-Annual World Crown 300 on Sunday, November 14.

The second hot August night at GMP is scheduled for Saturday, August 28 when NASCAR returns to Gresham Motorsports for the first time since 1987. The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East - NASCAR’s top driver development division – will invade the GMP facility for a 150-lap main event that evening. Drivers expected to race in the NKNPSE event at GMP are defending series champion Ryan Truex, Ty Dillon, Ryan Gifford, Darrell Wallace, Jr., Brett Moffitt, Matt Kobyluck, Kevin Swindell, Jody Lavender and Georgia’s own Max Gresham.

Through Thursday, August 12, fans can purchase a single adult ticket for both the August 14 and 28 events for a total of $30. That’s a 25 percent discount over buying the tickets individually for each race.

The GMP Grandstand and Trackside Parking for the August 14 event will open at 2 p.m. Opening Ceremonies are set for 7 p.m. with the first race taking the green flag at 7:30 p.m. sharp.
