Dates & Locations Finalized for the 2015 Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Modified Tour

 

Mandan, ND, January 12—The final dates, locations and payouts have been set for the 26th Annual Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Modified Tour. The series will pay another record purse with each of the six tracks paying out a minimum of $2,100 to win the IMCA Modified feature, along with $800 to win each IMCA Stock Car feature event. Series Title Sponsor Kupper Chevrolet will also pay $2,000 for the Modified and $1,000 for the stock car points fund to the top 10 in series points. XSAN TV will be continuing with its “Long Haul, New Blood” extra tow money for new drivers who have never entered the series. XSAN will also be providing exclusive pay per view TV with flag to flag coverage of all events.

 

The series starts its six consecutive night run on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the 3/8 mile Nodak Speedway on the ND State Fairgrounds in Minot, ND. The Tour next heads just north of the US border to Estevan, Saskatchewan and the 3/8 mile Estevan Motor Speedway on Monday, July 6. On Tuesday, July 7 its south to the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds and the ¼ mile Williston Basin Speedway in Williston, ND. Dickinson, ND is next at the ¼ mile Southwest Speedway, on Wednesday, July 8. On Thursday, July 9, the series heads to the 3/8 mile Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, ND. The series wraps up on Championship Night at the ¼ mile Jamestown Speedway on Friday, July 10.

 

All tracks will sanction the event with IMCA as it has in the past. The Tour will once again be directed by John Gartner of Mandan. Dale McEwen of Winnipeg will flag all six events, and IMCA will be providing technical support to make sure all rules are followed. The same payout, rules and procedures will be followed at all Tour tracks.

 

Tour entrants and fans are encouraged to make hotel plans early as housing can be a challenge at some venues, although many more hotels are now available.
