Weather and Action both heat up as 2010 season opener nears!

(5/12/2010)

With the 2010 Season less than 2 weeks away, drivers and fans have been out in full force at the tracks test and tune sessions. Many new drivers have shown interest in the 1/4 mile speed plant for this up coming season, and many drivers have made the jump to different classes. Taylor Babcock has made the transition to the 4 cylinder division from go karts  making her the youngest driver in the divison and putting her in the rookie of the year line up. Fast 4 cylinder driver Ron Etcher will be running select show in his brothers Pure stock for part of the season until his new modified is finished. Todd Jackson will be in a brand new Howe modified to start the season with the Shute Oil team as he hopefully will take off again and dominate like last year in the factory stock division. Dan Autore, former 4 cylinder driver has bought veteran driver Craig Van Tielen's mount and was out shaking the bugs out of it... John Clawson will be behind the wheel for the first few nights until all of the bugs are shaken out of it and then will return to the seat of his own ride. Well race fans, keep tuned in for more racing news as this year will prove to be one of the most competitive in the tracks 15 year history!!!!
