“Eldora is both a regional favorite and a destination race track that wins awards year in and year out because they are a world class facility and they do things incredibly there,” commented Scott Kosak, the founder of, “What’s just as amazing though is to see how more and more tracks are narrowing the gaps at the top of the rankings every year, showcasing that great promoters running great tracks are building the base of grassroots racing even stronger as years go on.  Tracks that have strong fan bases benefit when their loyal patrons become their best marketers to spread the word and invite more race fans through the gates."

Showcasing just how many different tracks have a wealth of fan support, over 650 different tracks were recognized as a 'Favorite' during the voting while 14 tracks each earned at least 1% of the survey votes.  Given the growing popularity of dirt track racing, it was no surprise that 18 of the top 20 were dirt ovals ranging from 1/8 mile to ½ mile in length.  Twelve different states are represented in the top 15 with Pennsylvania (4) leading, followed by Ohio, Illinois, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Indiana with 2 each.  States with 1 track recognized in each include Missouri, Iowa, Georgia, Washington, Tennessee, and Texas.

In addition to simply asking fans about their favorite track, also compiled data from thousands of race fans about their habits in visiting race tracks across the United States.  This data includes information about how often fans made it to race tracks, the number of different tracks they found their way to, and much more.  Stay tuned to for additional information in coming weeks that will help race tracks understand more about the fans they hope to attract.
