Opening Night Drawing Near for Manitowoc Speedway and Eastern Wisconsin Stock Cars

The weather will begin to turn soon and it will soon be time for the high-horsepower action on the 1/3 banked oval at Manitowoc Speedway with Eastern Wisconsin Stock Cars. We are planning a fantastic slate of racing for you this year, along with some special events. There are also opportunities for advertising opportunities with us and on the regions only 2 seat sprinter offering rides to fans and sponsors alike.
Our 2015 Opening Night will be May 8th, showcasing WDLMA Late Models, IMCA Modifieds and Sport Modifieds, Grand Nationals, Sport 4's, and new for 2015 Thunder Trucks. Our first special night of the year is May 22nd, EWSC 55th Anniversary Celebration. We are going to celebrate the progression of EWSC racing with special $5 admission, food and drink specials all night, and appearances from Vintage Stock Cars and Modifieds on the track and behind the grandstand joining our regular show.
The MSA 360 Sprints race 6 nights in 2015, while the IMCA Modifieds join the show 7 nights, each group brings their own unique brand of racing.
There will be some appearances by special guests this year as we are bringing the IRA 410 Outlaw Sprints on Friday July 3rd for the “Harbor Town Showdown” as part of our regular program. The Grand Nationals, IMCA Sportmods, and INEX Legends will complete the show. There are special grandstand and pit pass prices that evening that will be posted on the website soon.
On Friday night August 21st Manitowoc Speedway joins with the local Pink Heals Chapter for Racing Away Cancer Night at the Races. Pink Heals is a group that assists local families that are battling against this dreaded disease and we are honored to join them in the fight.
We are also giving racers from all venues a chance to tune in their machines before the season starts with Open Test & Tunes scheduled on Saturday April 25th & Saturday May 2nd. The pits will open at 9 am and the track at 10 am as weather permits.
