NCRA SPRINT CAR SERIES TO TAKE ON ASCS RED RIVER REGION SPRINTS

The heat has been turned on for a match up Saturday night between the NCRA Sprint Car Series and the ASCS Red River Region teams here at 81 Speedway.   Gates will open at 6pm, with a "heat adjusted" start time of 8pm with temps slated for 100+ on Saturday.

Joining the traveling open wheel teams will be the local Rookie Modified, Hornet, Cruisers and the NCRA Mod Lite.

The two Sprint Car sanctioning bodies colaborated back on May 28 this year with ASCS driver Joe Wood Jr, of Oklahoma City winning the main event.  Wood was followed by fellow ASCS drivers Wayne Johnson, Matt Covington & Seth Bergman.  The highest finishing driver with NCRA was a 5th place Don Droud Jr who paced the NCRA finishers of Jeremy Campbell, Danny Jennings and Jon Freeman (6th-7th & 8th).   

Saturday nights program for the sprint car teams will bank $2,000 for the win.
