CAMPBELL - DYMOND - POWERS - AYERS - LEECY - BLOCHER & MILLER ARE YOUR 2016 TRACK CHAMPIONS

With the final regular season point show in the books, some familiar faces and names return to the champions table at the annual awards banquet the last of January, joined by a couple of first timers.

Veteran and former champion Dan Powers, of Wichita, picked up another title in the Modified division as did Sprint Car champion Jeremy Campbell, Wichita, Ks, and David Blocher, Newton, Ks. in the Street Stock.  Cecil Dymond, of Goddard, Ks. won his first title in the AAAModified division joining first time winner Ryan Ayers, Salina, Ks. in the Mod Lite and Edward Leecy, Derby, Ks. in the Rookie Modified.  Scott Miller, of Hutchinson, Ks, another former champion in the stock car division, picked up the championship in the Thumper class.  

While the regular point season wrapped up Saturday (October 1) with the traditional "All Day Sucker," racing continues with numerous special event programs here at 81 Speedway into the first part of November.  (see schedule)
