NCRA MODIFIED SERIES ROLLS INTO 81 SPEEDWAY

The one time 3 day Fall Classic here at 81 Speedway this year be contested on a single night, Saturday, October 11, and will feature the NCRA Modified Series along with the local Street Stock and Thumper division. Gates will open Saturday night at 5pm and race time is 7. Dan Powers, of Wichita, seeking his first ever NCRA title sits atop the point standings with only two races remaining on the slate that has the teams right back here at 81 Speedway next Saturday night October 18. Powers lead is a slim 10 points over defending series champion Marc Hurd, of Wichita, and 40 points over Husker driver Jon Thompson who resides in 3rd. Thompson, like Powers, is chasing his first ever NCRA title as well.
