"THE BOARDER WAR" MARS - NCRA SUN. MAY 4

The Missouri based MARS Dirt Late Model Series rolls into the Sunflower State to challenge the Kansas based NCRA Late Model Series for a sanctioned "Boarder War" Sunday night, May 4 at 7pm. Gates open at 5pm. Joining the traveling Late Model teams will be the first race of the season for the NCRA Sport Mod Series.
Kyle Berck, of Marquette, Neb. sits atop the NCRA series claiming the first win of the season, and the series only race heading into the weekend, at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Ks. back on April 19. Tony Jackson Jr. is the current point leader with the MARS series which has 5 sanctioned events on the books already this season without a repeat winner.
For the "Galdiators" of the Late Model division, it all gets started Saturday night with a sanctioned stop-over at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Ks. Gates will open at 5pm in DC, racing begins at 7:30. It will be the first time for the Missouri based sanctioning body to hold a sanctioned event at the western Kansas town. NCRA teams have raced there in the past.
